MSS Develops Custom Re-usable Shipping Crates

Challenge:
Design a re-usable shipping crate to fit two sizes of server racks for the cable industry.

Description:
MSS addressed the intricacies of each server and custom designed crates with butterfly latches and engineered anti-static foam. The customer site technician can now quickly swap out a defective server with an operational one. The defective server is then shipped back for repairs in the same crate.

 
Process:
The re-usable crates, fabricated to a high tolerance, are delivered to a centralized location where they await shipment to multiple sites within the continental United States.  

Results:
MSS Precision has provided our client with a cost effective solution while enabling them to react quickly to service issues.
